Whale Tale

$150.00

This piece is all about experimentation and growth. I started by creating my own fabric using different ice dye techniques, letting the colors blend and shift organically. For the water element, I cut strips and carefully pieced them together—a practice in refining my sewing skills while embracing movement and flow.

As I was learning my embroidery machine, I played around with various designs, layering them together in a collage-like composition. To bring everything together, I added free-motion embroidery, giving the piece texture, depth, and a sense of spontaneity.

A mix of technique, discovery, and artistry, this piece is perfect for anyone who loves fiber art with a touch of playful experimentation.
